Historic Design
We begin our process with an investigation to document the existing conditions and historically significant elements. Conceptual design work focuses on the client’s specific desires while taking into consideration zoning and building code requirements and what is appropriate for the home. About
I'm Alec, a local Architect, craftsman and lover of all things historic and vintage.
My business Boone Architectural Restoration started after years of sitting behind a desk working for others. I've always had a passion for historic homes and have had the opportunity to save a few from demolition over the years. As a licensed Architect in FL, I specialize in historically appropriate renovations/additions, and previously focused solely on wood window restoration. I love dreaming of designs but am not afraid to get my hands dirty either.
I have been blessed to travel the world and our country with my wife and best friend. I grew up in sunny St. Petersburg, went to USF in Tampa, settled in Historic Kenwood, and would not have it any other way. I love our local community and the historic neighborhoods within it.
